finally got down to reading "Passion and Purity" by Elizabeth Elliot.. half way thro'.

Q:"Doesn't He want me to be happy?"
A:"He wants you most to be holy."

interesting? i finally found my answer. all He ever wanted was our totality, not just a portion of it, not just a little trial, not just for the mere why-me's.. of course God wants us to be happy, but the crux of it all is.. are we holy?

loneliness itself is material for sacrifice. taken in the right spirit... the effect of our troubles depends not on the nautre of them, but on how we receive them. it was a little mind boggling at first.. "huh.. loneliness itself is a material for sacrifice?" then i thought about Boy meets Girl.. where he wrote "Singlehood is a gift from God".. are they mutually exclusive? like what we learnt in cell on tues, urban loneliness.

taking my baby steps with Him. as for emotions.. feelings, i'm still trying to give it to Him.. trying. "Never pass up an opportunity to keep your mouth shut" is a good rule that harmonizes with Scripture.

feeling happy once again. everything's looking up.. a week away before i fly. wanna spend more time with you before i go. 3 weeks away.. my oh my. grin. will snap more photos before i fly.. wanna capture more moments together.

tomorrow is not our business; it's His. God wants to see us grow up.

-grow, grow, grow!-
